Ingram DigitalSM Names Frank Daniels Chief Commercial Officer; Kent Freeman is Chief Operating Officer

LA VERGNE, TN – Michael F. Lovett, Chief Executive Officer of Ingram Digital, announced today that Frank Daniels has been named Chief Commercial Officer of the company, and Kent Freeman has been named Chief Operating Officer.

In his new role, Mr. Daniels will have responsibility for guiding all commercial activities of Ingram Digital. Mr. Daniels has served as Chief Operating Officer of the company since July 2006. Prior to joining Ingram he was President and CEO of VitalSource Technologies, which was acquired by Ingram in 2006.

Mr. Freeman will have responsibility for overall production and technology activities of Ingram Digital. He has served as Chief Technology Officer of Ingram Digital Ventures, Ingram’s first digital content company, and then of Ingram Digital. Since joining Ingram in 1983, Mr. Freeman has held several technology and business leadership positions for Ingram Book Group.

Mr. Lovett said: “The digital content landscape continues to change very rapidly – and is in fact picking up speed – as new ways of creating, storing, distributing, accessing and using digital content are being developed. By making these important changes to our leadership organization, we have more effectively aligned our responsibilities and competencies to address this environment and meet the needs of our digital content supply chain partners.”
