Custom folders

If you refer to several books frequently, creating a custom folder will allow you to quickly access them in the bookshelf, as well as restrict a search to just those books. Just click the ”+” at the bottom left of the bookshelf window (in previous versions, the button was in the window toolbar). Give your folder a meaningful name and begin adding books. Just find the books you would like to include and drag them into the folder.

You can also drag figures inside a book, or even files or URLs from other applications. By dragging a figure from an open VitalBook, you are creating a shortcut directly to that figure in the book. If you are using Mac OS, you can even drag photos directly from your iPhoto library and they will be stored alongside your textbook figures.
